Q: How do I show only excerpts on a posts page? I don't want to show the entire post.
A: Go to Appearance > Widgets > Each Entry >Entry:Content
Notice in the widget configuration that there is a checkbox that allows you to turn on excerpts. Notice that you can also configure what the link text for the "read more" link looks like. Default is "More on %s". The %s specifies "the subject of this post".
